Position: Sr. Business Analyst – Analytics Division
Job Description:
The Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for developing SAS and excel statistical based logical models that the retail clients will be able to use to increase their productivity. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills with expertise in analytical models (Time series, forecasting, regression (multiple, multi-level and logistic regression), ARIMA, factor analysis, cluster analysis, conjoint analysis, discrete choice model). In addition the candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate should also be detail oriented organized and reliable.
Strong in the role of a consultant who will eventually devise strategies for entrepreneurial ventures and retailers.
Responsibilities:
• Develop SAS and excel based statistical and analytical models for clients
• Develop product category structures to enable accurate demand modelling
• Assist in profiling and prioritizing new market opportunities
• Participate in team meetings to provide ideas to achieve the goals of the clients
• Work with developers to create applications that will address retail clients
Minimum requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in statistical model building
• Should have a minimum of 3+ years experience in working with SAS, SQL
• Working with BI or retail applications will be an added advantage
• Detail oriented and able to work well independently as well as a lead the team
• Working experience in retail domain will be an added advantage
